This is a picture of the logo for Flight Director Robert Dempsey, NASA call sign of Galileo.  It shows Galileo in shadow looking through a telecope at a yellow star.  Galielo is writen along the top of the circular logo and Flight along the bottom. At the 10 pm position there is a red ciricle symbolizing Mars.  Around the 4 pm position is a blue circle, representing the earth, being orbited by a gray dot for the moon.  The NASA flight director symboel is on both sides of the image.
Robert Dempsey is seen at the bottom of NASA's Neutral Bouyancy Laboratory where astrounats are trained to conduct space walks.  He is wearing scuba gear and is front of a mockup of the International Space Station.
